What Acne and Acne Scarring Support involves
Active acne and acne scarring are different problems. Active acne may involve blackheads, whiteheads, inflamed spots, nodules or cysts. Scarring remains after inflammation has settled and may be ice-pick, rolling, boxcar or another scar type.
Moderate or severe acne, painful nodules, cysts, scarring risk or a condition affecting mental health should be discussed with a GP. Prescription treatment can be important. Cosmetic procedures do not replace control of active disease.
Once active acne is appropriately managed, Crystal Rose can assess residual texture and scarring. SkinPen microneedling uses sterile needles to create a controlled repair response. Microneedling may improve the appearance and texture of suitable scars, but it cannot make a scar disappear and not every scar type responds in the same way.
Planning the journey from Stowmarket
The clinic is reached by a short journey of around four miles. Clients travel east from Stowmarket towards Needham Market. The clinic is at Encore Wellness Centre, 20 High Street, and there is free parking outside for one hour.
For a course, the consultation sets out the likely appointment pattern before the client commits. For a single treatment, it still confirms preparation, recovery and whether the journey home is sensible immediately afterwards.
